Paul J. Edelson, M.D., and Sherry Brandt-Rauf, J.D., received a grant from the Lucius N. Littauer Foundation to train pediatric residents in caring for their young patients and families facing death. The program promoted the development of young pediatricians' competency in the various and multidimensional components of palliative care within the clinical setting with the aim of improving end of life care for young children.
